1.Cushing disease is a rare disorder which occurs due to overproduction of cortisol by the adrenal gland. When the tumor of the adrenal gland produces too much cortisol then it is called as adrenal Cushing . If the hormone cortisol is produced by the pituitary gland then it is called as pituitary Cushing’s. The symptoms are same due to the production of the same hormone cortisol from different sources .
